Research Findings: Defining quality and rights-based Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for disabled children and young people

We wanted to research and define what “quality” should be in EHCPs and to see whether they respected the rights of disabled children and young people.  We interviewed and facilitated discussion groups with disabled young people, parents/carers and multi-agency professionals.  This report presents our findings on what people think EHCPs could and should be to support disabled children and young people to achieve the best possible life.
